ABOUT

My Story

My name is Melissa Rose and I am a 200 hour Vinyasa, Restorative and Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher. I am also an Ayurvedic Massage Therapy Student at The Southwest Institute for the Healing Arts. I am on a mission to help leaders liberate themselves from hypermasculinity so they can melt into their softness through yoga and massage. 

Living in hypermasculinity and survival led me to addiction to alcohol and drugs, anxiety attacks, overworking because I felt like I needed to achieve to be worthy and a collapse in the polarity of my romantic relationships. I was living my life on overdrive, void of fulfillment and my life was giving me a lot of signs that I needed to soften. 

My healing journey to allow my divine feminine to feel safe enough to rise has included sobriety, EMDR therapy, IFS therapy, somatic therapy, meditation, celibacy, getting let go from a misaligned corporate job, Kabbalah, equine therapy, plant medicine ceremonies, yoga and massage. 

Once I reconnected to The Creator, my purpose was revealed to me in ceremony and meditation. I created Liberated Heart Healing to share the profound power of yoga, massage and bodywork which helps us reconnect to the innate wisdom of the body, release stored emotion and heal trauma. It is a privilege to be devoted to this path and to serve all of the souls that resonate with it. 

You do not have to live in survival, stress, chaos, anxiety, fear and overachieving. I am here to help you melt into your softness so you can live a life of purpose, unconditional love, connection, complete safety, joy, bliss and balance.

Release: Yoga 
$111

Release Yoga is an intimate, one-hour in-home yoga session created to support deep unwinding and heart-led presence. Through intuitive Vinyasa or restorative poses, breath and movement work together to release what no longer needs to be held. This offering is a sanctuary-where your body is listened to, your breath is honored and your heart is given space to open

Release: Massage $50 
(Student Rate)

Release Massage is a one-hour in-home massage experience designed to ease tension held in the body and invite the nervous system into deep rest. With intuitive, mindful touch, this session supports physical relaxation while creating space for emotional and energetic release. Each massage is guided by your body's needs, offering a gentle return to balance, presence and embodied calm

Rise: Yoga + Massage
$161

Rise is a two-hour, in-home private healing experience that weaves together one hour of intuitive yoga and one hour of deeply restorative massage. Beginning with breath and movement- either flowing Vinyasa or nourishing Restorative- the body is gently opened and prepared to receive. Massage follows, allowing tension to dissolve fully and integration to deepen. This offering is a space to soften, reset and rise into greater clarity, presence and embodied ease

Sunshine Yoga

I lead a donation based all levels flow class monthly at Chaparral Park. Donations benefit one n ten, a nonprofit close to my heart that is dedicated to serving and assisting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ+) youth. They provide youth with tools to improve self-esteem and self-acceptance. I would love to see you there! Please RSVP below. Bring your mat, sunscreen, sunglasses and water! You're welcome to bring friends, family and your social butterfly dogs!

"I was a guest at my first session of Melissa’s restorative yoga. Something had happened right before and it felt big and I wasn’t sure how to react, how to keep my boundaries, to keep myself safe, to keep the PTSD from rising. As Melissa guided us through the practice the importance of this instance started to soften. It let go of my mind, and slowly, my body. It was still showing on my face toward the end and Melissa was able to use pressure points on my face to release the tension. When it was all over and I was in savasana I knew exactly what to do.
